On June 15, the Institut Européen du Thermalisme celebrated its First Anniversary in front of over 200 participants in the prestigious Amphithéâtre Lepois of Nancy's Faculty of Medicine, via videoconference.

The event took place under the patronage of Mrs. Brigitte FEUILLEBOIS of the French Ministry of Health, member of the WHO Group of Government Representatives responsible for the practice and ethics of the health professions. A festive and reflective way to illustrate its activities throughout this first year of operation.

A round-table discussion on the theme: "Patient, User, Customer: What place for the curist?" provided an opportunity for ethical and legal reflection on the place of the curist in the relationship with healthcare professionals, whether prescribing physician, spa doctor or physiotherapist.

In the presence of the 78 spa doctors in training, from the faculties of Grenoble, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Clermont Ferrand and the latest class of spa agents trained at Nancy's CHRU, the Institut puts its educational role at the heart of its action.

The evening was also an opportunity to discuss the opening of the DU Santé et Thermalisme, which will be available from January 2024 for all healthcare professions in mainland France, Europe and abroad.

The members of the Management Committee are now busy building the First Franco-Moroccan Conference, to be held on October 18, 2023. For more information, click on the following link:
